This presentation about On the Move and funding opportunities for the mobility of Indonesian artists/cultural professionals will be made by Marie Le Sourd on 3 September at 7.30pm at Cemeti Art House. Selected art and cultural managers have been invited to attend this information session.
Marie will introduce the multiple aspects and impacts of cultural mobility e.g. the mobility of professional artists and cultural professionals (from cultural managers, curators, critics to technicians). Several forms of “mobility” exist, among which the most frequent are residencies, touring (to perform in another country than the one in which the artist/company is based),networking experiences (to connect with the artistic and cultural scene in another country through meetings, conferences, symposia), trainings etc.
The presentation will also include practical tips and advice to identify relevant cultural mobility experiences and projects as well as sources of funding.
This presentation will be moderated by Rismiliana Wijayanti (manager of Jogja Contemporary) and Bambang Paningron (art & cultural activist) as the responder for the discussion.
