The Bridging Career Take-Off Programme BCTO is designed for DJs-producers, sound artists, sound producers and electronic musicians, musicians with digital music practices, and has both an offline and an online component. Applicants should be resident and/or a citizen of one of the partner countries of the project - Tunisia, France, and Albania.

The seventh edition of Contemporary Dance Night will take place in the last quarter of 2023, in Cairo and Alexandria, Egypt between late November and early December 2023. Choreographers from Egypt and partnered countries can apply with new creations for a two-month residency where they will work with Egyptian dancers/artists. The call is open to young and mid-career contemporary dancers and choreographers who are a citizen or resident in Egypt, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Germany, America, and the Arabic region.

The Summer Sessions are short-term international art and technology residencies for emerging artists and designers. Each Summer Sessions residency lasts approximately eight weeks and takes place between July and September. This year the programme is open to artists under the age of 35 and/or graduated within the past five years living in Netherlands, Croatia, Italy, Norway, Spain or Egypt.

Common Stories are looking for 8 theatre directors, playwrights, choreographers and performance makers to take part in Common LAB 2023, an itinerant 8-week laboratory in France, Sweden, Egypt and Portugal from September - November 2023. Applicants should be performing arts artists living and working in Europe, with a good command of English.

For the second edition of this workshop for cultural mobility developers, On the Move is collaborating with Culture Funding Watch and focusing on the South Mediterranean countries, namely: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Malta, Italy (Sicily, Lampedusa, Pelagie Islands), Spain (Ceuta, Melilla).

The ‘Intermix Residency | Art & Fashion Reimagined’ programme offers visual artists and fashion designers the opportunity to collaborate in an experimental environment to support creative development and skill set expansion. The second cycle of the residency programme will run virtually from 4-18 December 2022 and on-site from 4 January - 28 February 2023.

SAWA Museum Studies Programme is a diversity-oriented museum educational programme for young professionals in Arabic-speaking countries and Germany. The programme is divided into two stages: an up to ten days visit to Sharjah and a corresponding same length visit to Berlin. 

Tuwaiq International Sculpture Symposium (TISS) will consist of 30 sculptors from around the world coming together to produce a series of permanent public sculptures. The Symposium will take place 8 January - 4 February 2023, and is a platform for international and Saudi artists to create public sculptures in a live setting. Applications are open to stone sculptors of all nationalities with at least 5 years of experience exhibiting works permanently or temporarily in outdoor spaces or galleries.

The EU-funded project Euro-Egyptian Cultural Programme (EECP) is launching a call for European artists to join a residency programme in Egypt working with Egyptian independent cultural actors. EUNIC will offer up to three artists a three-week stay in either February 2023 or March 2023.

The Soil Futures Residency Exchange is an initiative between Arts Catalyst, RIWAQ, Sakiya and Vessel Art Project, for artists to undertake a six-week residency that will take place within the period from October – December 2022. UK based artists can apply for a residency at Sakiya - Art/Science/Agriculture (Palestine). Palestine based artists can apply for a residency at Vessel Art Project (Italy). Italy based artists can apply for a residency at RIWAQ (Palestine).

Artists Connecting in Transition (ACT) is a new international programme for artists in exile, centring on artistic practice and international exchange in the context of significant global challenges and inequalities around forced migration, exile and displacement. Funded by the British Council, ACT sets out to create environments of care, creativity and support for artists whose practice has been disrupted through forced migration.
