The University of Lille, with the support of the Hauts-de-France region and in partnership with Le Fresnoy-Studio national des arts contemporains, is launching a new call for applications for the AirLab Residency (Artist in research immersion in a laboratory) for the year 2025-2026.
Lasting one year, this residency promotes collaboration between an artist or a collective of artists and researchers from the University of Lille.
Airlab Residence timeline
- September 2025 to January 2026: Immersion research phase
- February to June 2026: Production phase
- From September 2026: Presentation phase
The resident must collaborate with one of the 64 research units of the university and they must have a support letter from the Director of the relevant research unit.
The resident will be provided with 10,000 EUR for the residency, which will cover all residency costs, as well as a production budget of up to 5,000 EUR.
