IETM – International network for the contemporary performing arts is calling for applications from performing arts professionals and leaders for the 2027 edition of IETM Global Connect.
Global Connect is IETM’s flagship programme created with and supported by the IETM Associate Members, built on IETM’s vision of an inclusive, diverse, accessible and eco-responsible network and a global IETM community. Since 2021, IETM has welcomed 64 Global Connectors, performing arts leaders and innovators from five continents, who are driving a tangible shift in IETM.
The Global Connect open call seeks 10 performing arts professionals and leaders (producers, artists, managers, presenters, etc.) based anywhere around the globe, working in any performing arts genre, with a proven record of more than five years of professional experience.
The programme will select professionals who are passionate and committed to bridging their local contexts with the international performing arts scene through their work and knowledge, with an open, inclusive and generous mindset.
The 2027 Global Connect programme offers:
- Free IETM membership for five years (2027–2031), including free access to all IETM meetings, networking opportunities and training programmes;
- Community-building online sessions from January to May 2027, to get to know fellows and be introduced to the network ;
- Funding support to take part in the 2027 IETM Plenary Meeting taking place in Larnaka, Cyprus (25–28 May 2027)
