Busan International Comedy Festival (BICF) Organising Committee in South Korea has published an Open Call for international street artists for the upcoming festival in August 2026.
The Busan International Comedy Festival, celebrating its 14th anniversary this year, is the one of the most established comedy festival in Asia. One of the core programmes, ‘Comedy Street’, offers a platform for global buskers and street performers at the Haeundae Beach, attracting over 20,000 visitors daily.
The festival will be held from 21 to 26 August 2026. Performances should be no shorter than 5 minutes and no longer than 30 minutes.
The support package for selected artists includes:
- Round-trip International Flights
- Accommodation provided during the performance period
- 100% of Tip Box earnings
- 1,000 USD Artist Grant for the ‘Best Street Performer’ awarded at the Closing Ceremony
- Professional performance highlight video
