African Culture Fund: Cultural Management Bootcamp for Practitioners in North Africa 2025 (Algeria)

As part of its ACF-Academy programme, the African Culture Fund (ACF), in partnership with AFREXIMBANK, is launching its sixth call for applications targeting cultural managers and artists from North Africa, as part of the activities of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025) in Algiers. The bootcamp will be held from 6 to 8 September 2025.

This initiative aims to support the emergence, professionalisation, and networking of young talents in the fields of cultural management across North Africa.

Recognising the key challenges these professionals face—such as lack of technical resources, limited access to professional networks, and a scarcity of creative spaces—ACF and its partner are offering a structured support programme that combines specialised training, artistic exchanges, and professional networking opportunities.

The programme serves as a platform for learning and creative expression and reflects ACF’s commitment to the sustainable development and professionalisation of Africa’s cultural and creative industries (CCI), while celebrating regional artistic identities.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be between 21 and 40 years old
  • Reside in a North African country
  • Be a visual artist, cultural manager, or cultural administrator
  • Have at least 3 years of professional experience in the sector
  • Be fully available to participate in all program activities

The ACF will cover all costs related to participation in the programme, including international travel, accommodation, and meals.
