The Africa Institute, Global Studies University invites applications for the Tejumola Olaniyan Creative Writers-in-Residence Fellowship, a programme that celebrates and supports literary voices engaged in the creative expression of Africa and its diaspora in all forms and genres.

For this first edition, Mophradat are inviting artists and researchers to learn with and about the work of the Uzbek artist and filmmaker Saodat Ismailova, travelling to Uzbekistan from 19 April to 3 May 2026.

Mophradat is continuing their partnership with Kunstencentrum BUDA and NEXT Festival in Belgium to offer a three-week residency (October/November 2026) for a performing artist from the Arab world.

Mophradat’s New Agents Programme brings together a group of six people from across art fields from the Arab world to collaborate and learn together and eventually co-develop and realise a proposal for a public encounter.
