United States of America

On the Move, Martin E. Segal Theatre Center, the Graduate Center, CUNY and Theatre Without Borders present the

Guide to funding opportunities for the international mobility of artists and cultural professionals
United States of America

This funding guide follows the model of the previous mobility funding guides created or co-authored by On the Move for other world regions, but it has a special focus on Theatre, Dance and the Performing Arts.

The Guide lists national, local and international resources for incoming and outgoing mobility (to and from the USA), from both governmental and private institutions. Only opportunities accessible online with clear and accessible guidelines are listed; ad hoc or short-term funding are not included. The researchers have particularly put an emphasis on cultural mobility opportunities where travel is at least partially funded. The focus has been placed on opportunities related to theatre, dance, performance, and multi-disciplinary practices even if other disciplines can be covered as well.
