In the lead-up to the 2025 edition of On the Move’s Cultural Mobility Forum, the Pre-forum Webinars will bring together perspectives from a range of stakeholders to explore the theme of international mobility for young and emerging arts professionals.
The outcomes of the Pre-forum Webinars will contribute to shaping the overall programme of the main forum. Moreover, they aim to enhance understanding of the challenges and needs faced by young arts professionals, while also supporting the development of policy recommendations to drive transformation towards more sustainable ecosystems.
This webinar will present key insights from the Cultural Mobility Yearbook 2025, highlighting significant trends in international mobility for young and emerging artists and cultural professionals. The discussion will feature statistical data and showcase examples of open calls for participation, as signposted on the On the Move website, with a particular focus on opportunities tailored for younger practitioners in the arts and culture sectors. Additionally, the webinar will share valuable learnings from the comprehensive mapping exercise that informed the Cultural Mobility Funding Guide focusing on the Nordic-Baltic region. To conclude, a young expert will provide their reflections and share critical takeaways, offering a fresh perspective on the findings and their practical implications.
The panellists are Claire Rosslyn Wilson (Data Collector and Analyst for On the Move), Hanna Olsson (Senior Project Manager at Trans Europe Halles), Kamma Siegumfeldt (cultural manager and administrator of Kristján Ingimarsson Company in Denmark).
Moderator: Yohann Floch, Director of operations, On the Move.
Rapporteur: Andrew Ogun, a multi-disciplinary artist.
