Submissions are open for the 11th edition of PRISMA–International Contemporary Dance Festival of Panama to be held in Panama City from 8-16 October 2022.
The length of the work must be between 20 and 60 minutes. Shorter or longer pieces will not be accepted; combining pieces to meet the required length is not an option. Proposed pieces can be designed for theatre setting or for public/alternative spaces (which in PRISMA include school gyms, metro stations, and museums, among others).
The festival covers lodging (3 hotel nights in double rooms) and a per diem for meals and basic expenses for 3 days ($30 /day /participant). It doesn’t cover airfares, but pays professional fees based on the format of the work up to $4500.
Only the first 400 proposals received will be considered, so the organisers advise applying early.
