Culture2030Goal Campaign 2025 Survey

Title of the survey with circle of coloured arrow-like shapes.

The #Culture2030Goal campaign has recently released its roadmap for 2025 towards the development and adoption of a Culture Goal in global development agendas.

With the aim of updating and improving the draft for a Culture Goal proposal with concrete and solid indicators for the effective implementation of culture in global development agendas, to be launched in Mondiacult 2025 in September 2025, the #Culture2030Goal campaign has launched a survey with the aim of collecting the inputs and experiences of the wider culture and development communities worldwide.

Since 2013, the campaign has advocated for the inclusion of culture as a distinct goal in the global development framework. The campaign brings together Arterial Network, Culture Action Europe, the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), the International Music Council (IMC), the International Federation of Coalitions for Cultural Diversity (IFCCD), the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and United Cities and Local Governments Culture Committee (UCLG).

In 2022, on the occasion of the UNESCO MONDIACULT Conference, the Zero Draft of a dedicated or ‘standalone’ goal on culture was launch. Entitled ‘Culture Goal: to ensure cultural sustainability for the wellbeing of all’, it offers ten potential targets, similar to those included in the SDGs.

This draft will be updated and improved, based on the input of the wider culture and development communities. Inputs to this survey are essential and the answers will be indispensable to shape and achieve this goal.
