The Cultural Relations Platform (CRP) is an EU-funded project launched in April 2020, designed to support the European Union to engage in international cultural relations.
They are looking for experts in culture and cultural relations for short-term assignments for activities in EU partner countries worldwide. Assignments should start between September and November 2021.
The experts will conduct a diverse range of activities, including research, studies, mappings, and policy advice for specific countries.
Countries and expertise needed:
- China: Researcher or cultural manager with knowledge of EU-China cultural relations and cultural and creative sectors in China (objective mapping, analysis, policy advice).
- Japan: Researcher with knowledge of EU-Japan cultural relations particularly in the fields of artist mobility, cultural heritage, and/or Capitals of Culture, and cultural and creative sectors in Japan (objective mapping, analysis, policy advice).
- Jamaica: Researcher with knowledge of EU-Jamaica cultural relations, and cultural and creative industries in Jamaica with a particular focus on Kingston (objective mapping, matchmaking and facilitation).
- North Macedonia: Researcher with knowledge of cultural and creative industries in North Macedonia (objective mapping, analysis, policy advice).
- Rwanda: Researcher or cultural manager with knowledge of fashion, design and handicraft sectors, as well as of music sectors (objective mapping, matchmaking and facilitation).
- Sri Lanka: Researcher or cultural manager with knowledge of fashion, design and handloom sectors (objective mapping, matchmaking and facilitation). Sudan: Researcher or cultural manager with knowledge of the cultural and creative sectors, artistic freedom of expression, and existing ecosystem in Sudan (objective mapping and reinforcement of eco-system).
