European Dancehouse Network - EDN is a network for trust and cooperation between organisations dedicated to nurturing the artform of contemporary dance, sharing a common vision regarding the development of contemporary dance art across borders. EDN’s key mission is to cooperate in securing a sustainable future for the contemporary dance sector and to improve relevance for diverse dance among society.
EDN is currently recruiting a Financial and Administration Officer for an office-based position. The selected candidate is expected to reside in Barcelona.
The Financial and Administration Officer is a central figure of the EDN association, responsible for performing a variety of financial and administrative duties, strategising on and planning for financial goals by working daily to achieve and maintain the financial health of the EDN association.
The Financial and Administration Officer will maintain accurate records and is required to remain compliant with national and international laws, rules and procedures at all times. This means EDN’s Financial and Administration Officer will have high ethics, integrity, and accountability in addition to a detailed knowledge of sound financial management. As EDN is mainly funded by the EU, experience in working with Creative Europe projects is desirable.
The Financial and Administration Officer is accountable to the Network Manager and the EDN Board of directors. They will also work in close collaboration with the EDN office team, external contractors, and member organisations.
The position is 32 hours per week, or 4 full workdays per week, preferred starting date March 2022. The gross fee is 30,480€ annually and the employment includes one month holiday pay per year.
