The Arts Council of Ireland is the national agency for funding, developing and promoting the arts in Ireland. In addition to providing funding programmes, they work in partnership with artists, arts organisations, public policy makers and others to extend the range and improve the quality of opportunities available to the public. Within this context, international mobility is part of a broader developmental strategy as explicitly referred to in the Arts Council’s International Arts Policy.
