- News / Kultur einer Digitalstadt: Artist-in-Science-Residence 2023 (Germany)In January 2023, Kultur einer Digitalstadt is again inviting applications for three Artist-in-Science-Residencies (AiSR) for artists of all disciplines. This studio residency on the Rosenhöhe in Darmstadt is linked to a collaboration with one of three renowned Darmstadt research institutes - the Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence (hessian.AI), the GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung, and the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC). A total of three 6-week fellowships will be conducted between June and October 2023.
- News / European Marine Board: Artist Residency Programme, ‘EMBracing the Ocean’The European Marine Board’s artist in residence programme ‘EMBracing the Ocean’ provides grants for creative individuals or groups to co-create work with Ocean scientists. It aims to inspire wide reaching societal change for Ocean sustainability by expanding societies’ understanding of the Ocean’s value and the urgency of ensuring its health and resilience now and into the future. The residency will take place remotely, but may include visits to collaborating researchers and/or participation in events.
- News / EPFL: Artist/Designer in Residence (Switzerland)The goal of EPFL’s residency programme is to explore new ways in which to apply their research results for creative expression by collaboratively creating an art piece or design prototype that will be exhibited and publicised in appropriate venues. The residency at the Geometric Computing Laboratory can last for up to three months, starting in March 2023 at the earliest.
