KBF (Kraków Festival Office) and Kraków UNESCO City of Literature are calling for applications from writers and translators from Ukraine and Belarus to apply for their literary residency programme, May–June 2024.

Behind the Curtain is a series of programmes that aims to develop the know-how of an international network of cultural managers and dance management experts. It is for emerging cultural managers, dance professionals, dancers, choreographers, producers and promoters, and individuals operating in the field of performing arts, and individuals from Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania and Sweden can apply.

A new residency programme to develop artistic perspectives on bicycle cultures and communities in five European cities is being launched, between May and September 2024. Applicants must be a legal resident in one of the 40 Creative Europe countries.

Lights On is ENCC - European Network of Cultural Centres’ flagship training and work exchange programme for culture professionals under 35. It involves a five-day immersive training followed by a period of work exchange in a partner organisation.

Beyond Front@: Bridging Periphery is calling for participation in the dance showcase programme ‘Rollercoaster - Collectors of sensations’, organised by Krakow Dance Theatre and The Centre for Documentation of the Art of Tadeusz Kantor CRICOTEKA. The programme runs February - October 2024 with a theme of Space. Applicants should be from Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Slovenia or Sweden.

Are you an artist passionate about exploring the heritage that reminded us of challenging times in the 20th century in Eastern Europe, Eastern Partnership countries, and Central Asia? If so, Floating EKA invites you to be part of their ‘I Inherit What You Lost’ artistic laboratory. Artists from from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia can apply.

Culture Utopias is the title of a residency that aims to create a collaborative and courageous space of action in which artists, cultural managers, activists and citizens from Romania, Poland and Ukraine can reflect on the challenges Europe has faced in the last decade.

For its research residencies, the European project tekhnē welcomes artists, researchers, art educators and cultural workers working with and around autonomous and experimental approaches to technology, and reflections about what can be considered technology. Residency lengths vary between two and six weeks, between December 2023 and December 2024.

Organised by the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and the Institute of Art Polish Academy of Sciences, the ‘Devised Theatre / Dance Theatre’ conference will be held in Katowice from 9-12 November 2023. The conference organisers invite the participation of theoreticians and practitioners who are fascinated by the working methods and tools of devised theatre.

The research project PALIMPSEST is looking for architects, designers, artists, and creative agents to work on imagining and experimenting with new ways to respond to environmental problems in three laboratories at pilot landscapes. Applicants must be established in one of the eligible countries: the Member States of the European Union, and countries associated with Horizon Europe.
