The National Centre for Writing in Norwich, England is partnering with the RECIT network and the Translation in Motion consortium to offer a month-long residency in Norwich in May 2023 to one or two literary translators working from English into the languages of the countries of the Western Balkans – Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia. These residencies are open to UK and EU translators working from the languages of the Western Balkans into English.

The British Council has opened applications for scoping grants in preparation for a proposed UK/Poland season in 2025. In order to start developing potential activity, they are offering grants of £2500 to start conversations and establish partnerships.

Gasworks and Accion Cultural Española (AC/E) are working in partnership to offer a fully- funded residency at Gasworks in London from 11 April - 26 June 2023 for an artist based in Spain.

The Horizon 2020 project WaterLANDS has launched six calls for European artists to engage with restoration works through part-time residencies spanning four years. Residencies will take place at sites in Bulgaria, Estonia, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Granted to one fellow identifying to any extent with Greater Chinese and Sinophone cultures and identities, based in the regions or internationally, Asymmetry are offering a fully funded curatorial fellowship in collaboration with Whitechapel Gallery and Delfina Foundation. The fellowship will take place 3 April – 17 September 2023.

In partnership with the Contemporary Art Museum of Panama (MAC Panamá), Delfina Foundation welcomes applications from artists or curators from and based in Central America for a three-month residency in London. This residency at Delfina Foundation will take place from 26 June to 15 September 2023 and will inform a commissioned outcome with MAC Panamá, which the selected applicant will present at the institution in late 2023/early 2024.

The Access ART X Prize awards early-career artists from Africa and its Diaspora with opportunities to develop their practices. One artist will be selected from Nigeria for a residency at Gasworks in London from July to September 2023. Another artist from Africa / the Diaspora will be selected for a residency at Yinka Shonibare’s GAS Foundation in Lagos from September to November 2023. Both artists will exhibit at the ART X Lagos fair in November 2023.

Enoa – the European Network of Opera Academies is organising an immersive residency programme offering support, mentorship and mobility for artists without significant opera experience. There are residencies available with eleven hosting institutions in various European countries. The programme runs February 2023 - spring 2024. Applicants should be mid-career artists based in Europe who are highly interested in the development of opera creation / interdisciplinary musical and artistic forms but have no significant opera experience.

Amplify is calling for artists to enter its ‘Into The Metaverse’ competition for a chance to win their own live virtual concert, a music video and a sponsored trip to the UK, among other prizes. The competition is being run in partnership with metaverse and Web3 specialists Condense, KnownOrigin and Pirate. The artist must be a solo artist 18+, able to travel to Bristol (or a suitable location for capture), UK within the first two weeks of February 2023.

Tate, in collaboration with Delfina Foundation, invites applications for the Brooks International Fellowship Programme 2023. They are recruiting for one, six-month fellowship opportunity, to be hosted in Tate’s Digital and Innovation division.

In partnership with Kunsthalle Praha, Delfina Foundation welcomes applications from curators based in Central and Eastern Europe for a three-week residency in London. The residency will take place from 3–23 April 2023, during Delfina Foundation’s spring season.
