Artist in Coexistence (AiC) is a platform for artistic exploration from a post-humanist perspective for creatives from all artistic disciplines.

An artist residency in Jokkmokk, a city north of the Arctic Circle in Arctic Sweden and Sápmi, is now open for applications from Swedish and international visual artists working in any artistic field, to stay from 16 September to 5 October 2024.

During 2024 Köttinspektionen are offering a one-month residency for international dance artists and choreographers, one person or a small group (maximum 3 people).

The Nordic-Baltic ASSITEJ Network (NBAN) invite performing artists/companies from the Nordic-Baltic region to present their works in a vibrant pitching-event for international programmers and potential collaborators at the Swedish Performing Arts Festival BIBU in May 2024.

The Nordic Analog Network is an artist-in-residence program between analog photography darkrooms in the Nordic countries. Selected artists will travel for a three-week period to work in a darkroom in another Nordic country during 2024.

The UmArts Artist Researchers in Residence Programme (ARIR) in Umeå provides the opportunity for artists and makers to contribute to the UmArts research environment for one month during 2024 or 2025. To be eligible for ARIR the artist must be resident and eligible to work in the European Union.

Europe Beyond Access (EBA) is Europe’s largest and most influential initiative to focus on the active participation of artists with disabilities in mainstream dance and theatre. The EBA Consortium Project Manager will work alongside the EBA Project Director, and the EBA Consortium Communications Officer to ensure the good management of the whole collaborative programme.

Konsthall C invite applications for the residency programme Nordic Futures from artists and/or researchers who are passionate about exploring pressing issues connected to the climate crisis through an interconnected social justice lens. The residency is open to artists and artistic researchers based in the Nordic countries (excluding Sweden) as well as the Baltic region.

With the artistic residency Forgotten Realms, Art Inside Out will invite two artists to Tjolöholm Castle to explore the irrational, fantastic and magical in our lives through various forms of artistic investigation over 8 weeks. The residency will have two phases: research 11–24 March 2024, production 15 May – 23 June 2024.

ETC - European Theatre Convention are looking for emerging theatre artists (particularly stage directors and dramaturgs) to join them in the sixth edition of the ETC Artist Residency Programme, offering placements of 4 to 8 weeks at ETC Member Theatres. Various residencies will take place throughout the first half of 2024.

Professional artists can register their interest in a commission of an Antiracist Monument in Jesusparken in Malmö. Production will take place March 2024 - September 2025.
