the sustainable institution artist residency is an opportunity for creative practitioners to produce new solutions in the fight against climate change and mitigate the environmental burden of exhibition making. Three creative practitioners will be selected to develop a prototype for sustainable exhibition making over a six-month research and development period (September 2023 – March 2024), ending with a 6 week residency in spring 2024.

SODAS 2123 invites sound artists to a funded two-month-long artist residency programme in Vilnius, Lithuania. Residencies run 1 December 2022 - 31 January 20230r 1 April - 31 May 2023. Only artists from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania (as well as the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Åland) are eligible to apply.

Borderland Poetics, a cooperation programme between CCA Estonia, Rupert (centre for arts, residencies and education in Lithuania) and Icelandic Art Center, is inviting emerging art professionals of the region to apply for the 2022 project assistant position. There are three different positions available, one in each institution: CCA (Tallinn, Estonia), Icelandic Art Center (Reykjavik, Iceland) and Rupert (Vilnius, Lithuania). The position will be for 1 or 2 months in autumn 2022.

Atletika gallery is inviting artists residing in Nordic and Baltic countries to an exhibition-oriented residency in Vilnius at cultural centre SODAS 2123. The residency is foreseen to take place 1 September – 31 October 2022 with an exhibition opening in the middle of the second month of the residency at Atletika gallery.

SODAS 2123 and the Lithuanian Culture Institute have launched an open call for international curators and cultural managers to participate in a month-long residency programme in Vilnius during November 2022. The residency provides an opportunity to conduct a research of the Lithuanian art scene and aims to encourage international cooperation and long-term, sustainable partnerships.

Verpėjos (The Spinners) is inviting creators from different fields to an artistic residency in the Varėna area (South Lithuania) from July to October 2022. Residencies last for 1 month and take place over the period from 1 July to 30 October 2022.
