Cybernate is an online and in-person residency programme for three Irish artists and three French artists who specialise in Digital Arts and have presented work in Public Space or wish to present work in the public space. The programme will take place from November 2022 to March 2023 including two 2-week in-person residencies in Lyon (FR) and Galway (IE) respectively.

Greywood Arts and the National Space Centre in Cork, Ireland invite expressions of interest from artists working in any visual, installation, or time-based medium who engage with themes of outer space, technology, and speculative futures in their work to apply for the residency ‘The Invisible Ether’. This residency will run for six weeks from 15 October – 25 November 2022.

Limerick Twenty Thirty are offering a public commission for a contemporary, ambitious and visually strong artwork to complement the development of a new quarter, Opera Square, in Limerick, Ireland. The work will be installed in Q1 2024.

The Linenhall International Artist Residency will support an international artist in the creation of new work and/or the development of their artistic practice at the Linenhall Arts Centre in County Mayo, Ireland. The residency will take place in autumn 2022 over eight weeks, with both an on-site and off-site element, from 5 September - 30 October 2022.

The CROWD network calls for dance artists from across Denmark, England, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) in Germany, Norway and Scotland to apply for the 2022 dance residency programme, CROWD – international dance exchange. Programme activities take place between June – October 2022.

Open Futures 2022 invites collaborative submissions, consisting of one dance artist and one digital media artist, who are exploring the potential of interdisciplinary exchange within practices that consider stage, gallery, installation and outdoor settings. Three pairs of artists will be selected for this two-week mentored and technically supported residency in Limerick, Ireland.

The Crespo Foundation has launched a new project: the artist in residence programme ‘ArtNature/NatureArt’ in West Cork on the south coast of Ireland. The aim of the programme is to encourage the development of groups of young artists from Europe and Russia and raise the international profile of their work. The next two residency phases are from August to October 2022 and March to May 2023.

Island Connect will facilitate 2 two-week fully-funded residencies for 8 artistic companies in the calm surroundings of island residencies in Denmark, Croatia, Ireland, Greece or Spain – the Balearic Islands. Residencies will take place throughout 2022. Applications are open to artists and companies (max 3 people) from Denmark, Croatia, Ireland, Greece or the Balearic Islands.

The SPACE Programme 2022 is now open for applications. This latest edition of The Performance Corporation’s collaborative artists residency will take place 10-17 February 2022 and focus on the crossover between Arts and Immersive Technology, such as Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality. SPACE offers artists and immersive tech creatives, from a wide variety of backgrounds, the opportunity to work collaboratively and experiment with new forms and ideas at the The Tyrone Guthrie Centre in County Monaghan.

In From the Margins is a European cooperation project between Edinburgh Printmakers, Scotland; Cork Printmakers, Ireland; Funen Printmaking Studio, Odense, Denmark; International Centre of Graphic Arts, Ljubljana, Slovenia; and AGA Lab, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Artists working in any discipline are invited to apply to become an Embedded Artist creatively engaging with the farming community and Corca Dhuibhne Creativity & Innovation Hub (in County Kerry, Ireland) to support participating farmers to identify climate action solutions that will work for them and wider society. This project will be up to 14 months in duration, with the artist’(s) role beginning in November 2021 and continuing until the end of December 2022.

Greywood Arts and Ireland’s National Space Centre are seeking expressions of interest from artists with a sculpture, three-dimensional or multi-disciplinary practice for a one-month residency (5 November – 6 December 2021) exploring the impact of human interactions with space and how we could move forward into the future.
