Room to Bloom Festival will take place next 1-4 November 2022 in Malmö, Sweden on the theme: Celebrating Postcolonial and Ecofeminist Art & Activism. Room to Bloom community members, Sweden-based artists, and artists from the MENA region are invited to participate in the festival’s programme of exchanges and artist-led workshops.

The municipality of Esch-sur-Sûre, Luxembourg is renewing the WaterWalls Festival for a second edition. It is the first cultural festival based on the principles of the circular economy. As an open-air exhibition of contemporary art, the festival aims to raise awareness about the artistic production and consumption aspects of culture. In 2023, four autonomous and participative art installations will be set up along the Sûre river, at the level of the four compensation dams, downstream of the large dam, in the idyllic valley of Esch-sur-Sûre.

SOTAN members and other participants are invited to take part in a workshop (12-14 August 2022) that introduces the project ‘Living water’ by the artist duo of Aly Ogasian and Claudia O’Steen. The artists will introduce their methods on creating the artwork Living water for the outdoor exhibition Wild Bits in the wild nature of South Estonia.

The Granada Writers in Residence Programme is targeted at writers residing in any country in whichever language they write. The residency itself will take place 3 November - 2 December 2022. Applicants need to have published at least two books (prose fiction, essays, poetry, etc.), excluding self-publishing.

IAS CEU offers one Writer in Residence fellowship and one Visual/New Media Artist in Residence fellowship to provide selected artists with opportunities to conceptualise and create new works while providing the Fellow community with opportunities for meaningful interaction with artists working in various fields. Fellowships last 3-5 months and may start in October 2023.

K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg provides three eight-month residencies per season to choreographers, who are currently at the beginning of their career and have produced some choreographic work of their own. The next residency will begin August 2023 and run until April 2024. Over the course of the residency the three choreographers will each develop a full-length piece that is presented at the end of the residency on three evenings.

MigraNetz Thüringen are looking for artistic proposals for public space as part of the travelling exhibition Kein schöner _____ in dieser Zeit. Artworks and performances are sought that deal with the realities of migration in East Germany and the history of the region. The exhibition will tour through Suhl, Nordhausen and Saalfeld from the end of August to mid-September 2022.
