The core purpose of the ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­role of Executive Administrator is to provide support to the management team of the 2022 Edinburgh International Culture Summit. The team is comprised of the Programme Director and Executive Producer, who are supported by the Programme Manager.

Les candidatures émanent d’artistes ou d’autres praticiennes engagées dans une démarche de création incorporant et/ou interrogeant les nouveaux médias - les outils numériques, les sciences et favorisant l’hybridation entre disciplines.     The Immaterial Future Innovation Award invites technological start-ups and projects from anywhere in the world to apply with initiatives that leverage technology to address, directly or indirectly, a set of challenges around building new business models. Six selected finalists will be invited to the Immaterial Future Forum in Vienna in September 2021 to showcase their projects to potential partners and investors with a specific interest in culture and technology, with one then being selected for the Award.

Il propose à des artistes provenant de tous les champs de la création contemporaine et créateurs venant d’autres univers d’explorer des formes artistiques dites hybrides au sens où elles relient les mondes « physique » et « numérique ». Cet appel est ouvert à des artistes et créateurs relevant de tous les champs de la création contemporaine , de nationalité française, ressortissants d’un État membre de l’Union Européenne, ou ayant le statut de résidents en France.

  • News / Pro Helvetia: Connect South Africa (South Africa / Switzerland)

    Connect South Africa will grant a funded residency to one artist from Switzerland and one artist from Southern, East or West Africa, with residency activities split between CERN, the European Laboratory for Particle Physics in Geneva and the array of optical and radio astronomy observatories across rural and urban South Africa. Connect South Africa invites submissions from artists with a distinct interest in an interdisciplinary approach, and a keen engagement with scientific thinking and fundamental science.

  • News / Open Call for Congolese, Brazilian and Swiss artists for the Project ‘Quilombo’ (Switzerland / Remote)

    The tri-continental project ‘Quilombo’ will involve an exhibition, a three-month residency in two Swiss cities, and the production of a catalogue. Activities take place in summer/autumn 2021. Individual or two-person applications are welcomed from Congolese, Brazilian and Swiss artists, and are open to all disciplines that imbue a research-based practice.

  • News / Curated Affairs: Call for Artists Based in Warsaw to Propose a Project on the Work of Joseph Beuys (Germany)

    To mark the 100th birthday of Joseph Beuys and to honour the town twinning between Poland’s capital Warsaw and the state capital Düsseldorf, the curatorial outfit Curated Affairs are pleased to invite two professional artists based in Warsaw to attend a 14 day research residency in Düsseldorf, preferably in July 2021. There is no age restriction. The submission of a research project proposal on the work of Joseph Beuys is required.

  • News / Journeys Festival: Call for Artists and Mentors for LOOK UP 2021 (UK / Germany)

    LOOK UP 2021 is a collaborative visual arts mentorship programme. Artists will develop new work which will be installed in Leicester, Manchester and Portsmouth as part of Journeys Festival International 2021 (15-25 October), and will take part in two short residencies which will take place between June-August 2021, at Aspex, Portsmouth and coculture, Berlin, and/or online, dependent on COVID travel restrictions. Artists must be Europe-based, under 30, and from a sanctuary-seeking background or with refugee heritage.

  • News / Urbane Künste Ruhr: Residency Programme at the Haus der Geschichte des Ruhrgebiets (Germany)

    Urbane Künste Ruhr is pleased to announce a new cooperation with the Stiftung Geschichte des Ruhrgebiets in Bochum as part of the residency programme Zu Gast bei Urbane Künste Ruhr. The residency offers the opportunity for intensive research of archival material and archival structures during a three-month stay. The residency is open-ended, individualised, and geared to the specific research interests and projects of the residents.

    In the framework of the European project Who Cares?, Centro Huarte is offering an international residency programme for two or more artists, taking place from 1 September to 24 October 2021. Projects are encouraged to investigate care and affective practices in relation to the current moment we are living through. Applicants should have an EU passport or be based in an EU member state and preferably be fluent in the local languages (Spanish and/or Basque).

  • News / Roxy ULM: ResearchLab for Emerging Choreographers (Germany)

    Roxy ULM’s ResearchLab (based in Ulm, Germany) consists of up to four residencies per year. Each residency lasts three weeks and is aimed at supporting dance by nurturing emerging choreographers to realise their ideas from concept to live performance. Young, emerging and established choreographers are welcome to apply. One ResearchLab begins in September 2021 and another in November 2021.
