    The Grand Paris Express is the name for a group of new and extended transit lines being built in the Île-de-France region of Paris. An international call for projects is now being launched for the creation of permanent frescos on the platforms of the Grand Paris Express train stations. In order to enable the laureates to better discover the territory allocated to them and to perfect their project, an on-site five-day residency will be programmed.

  • News / Fondation Jan Michalski: Residencies for Writers

    The Jan Michalski Foundation lies at the foot of the Swiss Jura Mountains in Montricher. Its residency programme is open to all types of writers engaged in literary creation. While they give priority to writers and translators, the Foundation are also open to any other disciplines as long as writing is at the heart of the project. Stays in the Jan Michalski Foundation can be granted for individual projects or projects in pairs, and can last two weeks, one month, two months, three months or six-months. The next wave of residencies will begin from February 2022. Applications are open internationally.

    Idensitat and Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Huarte are offering a residency to one artist, or collective of artists, to develop a project within the social context of the towns of Huarte, Burlada and Villava (Navarra) and under the theme ‘Immunity Community’.     Initiated by the French Ministry of Culture and DRAC Grand Est, the Fabrique d'Europe (‘Making of Europe’) project will organise a series of ten-week residencies for research, experimentation and creation from January – July 2022. Under the programme, young European arts and culture graduates (graduated after 2010) will work with high school students from rural and peri-urban areas to share the act of creation.

    (Re)activating Common Urban Imaginaries is a pluri-disciplinary nomadic residency programme exploring sound, memory and trans-Mediterranean resonances. There will be three week-long creative residencies: Athens, November 2021; Alexandria, January 2022; Marseille, March 2022. Applications are open to individuals engaged in the study, protection or production of collective urban memory who reside in EU and a number of neighbouring countries.
