Eurocities, the network of major European cities, is recruiting a project coordinator to work on the European Heritage Hub project. The candidate would ideally start on 2 May 2023.

The Producers’ Academy is a dedicated time to reflect, think, co-learn, encounter, and question the practice of the producer. With open minds and open hearts, integrity and fun, CIFAS’ four-day workshop delves into the current urgencies and issues around producing work and being a producer. The next edition of the Academy runs 17-20 May 2023. CIFAS offer bursaries to support producers from countries where little or no financial support is available for international mobility.

The association KIKK is launching an Art and Science residency programme at the UNamur (University of Namur) Astronomical Observatory, organised in partnership with the Delta, the cultural space of the Province of Namur, and the TRAKK, the Creative Hub, Medialab and Fab Lab of Namur. Two artists and/or collectives will be hosted in residency studios located on the rooftop of the Delta in Namur, Belgium from 14 May – 14 June 2023 and receive a grant to develop an Art / Science project on the theme of astronomy, as well as curatorial and scientific support to develop their production project.

The Arts and Sciences residency programme ‘Imagining Ecological Futures’ will invite two artists and/or collectives to work at the Abattoirs de Bomel from 24 April - 21 May 2023. The residency gives artistic researchers from various fields the opportunity to work on the intersection of art, science and ecological questions. The aim is to develop useful arts-led interdisciplinary research tools and artworks to examine how cultural practitioners critically address and creatively negotiate ecological futures.

The Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen (AEC) represents almost 300 Higher Music Education Institutions in Europe and beyond. AEC is recruiting an Office and Project Coordinator to join its Brussels-based office for a period of one year with the possibility of future extension. The start date is 3 April 2023.

In the first call from the European project Hydromedia, four selected residents will work in the Scheldt Estuary, the ecological zone alongside the Scheldt, a living climate laboratory, and a rare phenomenon worldwide. The residency takes place over April 2023 and is open to visual artists currently living in Europe and/or who have the nationality of one of the countries that are part of the EU.

As a member of the international collaboration A-Place, LOOP (a platform dedicated to the study and promotion of the moving image) will commission a video production to investigate the process of creating a sense of place in one of the six cities participating in the project (Barcelona, Bologna, Brussels, Lisbon, Ljubljana and Nicosia). Multidisciplinary artists who are legal residents in the European Union can apply.

Lights On is a funded programme for young professionals under 35, working in cultural centres and other cultural organisations in Europe. It is a capacity building and process-oriented programme that unfolds over about 8 months. During this period, you should plan to be absent from work for about 12 days.

For CODE 2023, creative professional and non-professional artists from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany are invited to take part in a five-month journey of dialogue, critical discussion and co-creation about digital rights. Between February and June 2023 you will work with other participants on group artworks to be presented at international festivals and events.
