- Roxy ULM: ResearchLab for Emerging Choreographers (Germany)TanzLabor at ROXY Ulm is announcing its open call for ResearchLab #5, a co-production residency opportunity. In collaboration with ULM MOVES!, Tanznetz Freiburg and EWerk, they are looking to engage an ambitious independent company/freelance choreographer to premiere their new work at ROXY‘s Biannual International Dance Festival ULM MOVES! On 17 June 2022. This piece will then go on to be performed at E-Werk as part of the Tanznetz Freiburg ‘Dance Date’ evening on the 25 June 2022.Closed
- TanzLabor Ulm: Commissions for Digital Dance Makers (Germany)TanzLabor – ROXY Ulm and Artistic Director Pablo Sansalvador are looking to commission five innovative ‘Digital Dance Makers’ to create five varied short choreographic works of 5-8 minutes. The movement of each of the Digital Dance Makers will be recorded through Motion Capture technology. This content will then be transformed into Augmented Reality, allowing each of the Digital Dance Makers to be visible and present within a larger dance installation performance called Tanz mit dem Tiger under the Artistic Direction of Pablo Sansalvador.Closed
- Roxy ULM: ResearchLab for Emerging Choreographers (Germany)Roxy ULM’s ResearchLab (based in Ulm, Germany) consists of up to four residencies per year. Each residency lasts three weeks and is aimed at supporting dance by nurturing emerging choreographers to realise their ideas from concept to live performance. Young, emerging and established choreographers are welcome to apply. One ResearchLab begins in September 2021 and another in November 2021.Closed
