- Travel and Attendance Grants for CIMAM’s Annual Conference (Poland / Online)
CIMAM’s 2021 conference, ‘Under Pressure. Museums in Times of Xenophobia and Climate Emergency’, will be held in Lodz and Gdansk, Poland from 5-7 November 2021. Grants are available to support in-person or online attendance for individuals residing in the countries of the former Soviet Union, the Northeast Asia region, the African continent, Spain, and the Eurasian Economic Union.
- Goethe-Institut / ZKM: ‘C3: Codes, Creativity, Communities’ (Online)
C3: Codes, Creativity, Communities invites applications from artists, musicians, film-makers, writers, coders, and creative cultural practitioners from all fields. During this year-long engagement participants will take part in regular online meet-ups, brainstorming sessions, workshops, and impulse sessions. The programme focuses on creators in the regions of South Asia, Tehran and Germany.
- Workshop Residency for Young Artists from Visegrad Countries at the Open Air Theater Festival (Poland)
The Agora Cultural Center in Wrocław in cooperation with artistic organisations from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland invites participation in an open call as part of the international Open Air Theater Festival. The call is open to theatre makers, with a special focus on circus performers, acrobats, performers, dancers and musicians under the age of 26 and from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. The residency will run 12-18 September 2021, with participants working together to create (and finally show) a new performance on the theme of climate change.
- DutchCulture: Sustainable Dialogues 2021 Call for Young Museum / Heritage Professionals in Russia and the Netherlands (Online)
DutchCulture’s Dutch-Russian online conference Sustainable Dialogues 2021 will take place 4-6 October 2021. They are now calling for applications from students of cultural disciplines and early-career museum, art and heritage professionals interested in creating international museum projects and participating in expertise-building workshops, focusing specifically on Dutch-Russian museum cooperation.
- Ji.hlava: Inspiration Forum LAB, ‘The Limits of Growth’ (Online)
The Inspiration Forum LAB is an interdisciplinary research programme designed to provide a space where artists and scientists can meet and work together on creating research-based multimedia art projects. The 2021/22 LAB will take place in phases over seven months, October 2021 – April 2022, with follow-up project presentations in the spring/summer and autumn of 2022. The programme is open to applicants from European countries.
