Mission Diversity is an international call, open to organisations (profit and non-profit) from the creative, cultural and musical world who want to present musical projects created by groups of people (with women and underrepresented gender minorities as key figures) that can speak to issues of gender and cultural diversity at an international level.
Mission Diversity is planned and carried out by the social enterprise Music Innovation Hub, together with the international network Keychange and PRS Foundation, powered by YouTube and with institutional partners such as ASviS, Italia Music Lab, UN SDG Action Campaign and UNAR – Ufficio Nazionale Antidiscriminazioni Razziali.
Mission Diversity will support 6 artistic projects presented by organisations operating in the creative industries and involving underrepresented talents. Each project will receive a 12,000€ bursary for the development of an original project and the creation of a final audiovisual output.
For each project, Mission Diversity will also allocate 3000€ for the realisation of a documentary that will be promoted on the partners’ media channels and projected during the SDGs Campaign Festival in May 2022.
Production for selected projects will take place between November 2021 and May 2022.
