Located in Marrakech, the Montresso Art Foundation supports contemporary creation by offering artists a unique residency setting conducive to experimentation and artistic production.
Montresso Art Foundation’s residency at Jardin Rouge is open to visual artists (drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography). There are no restrictions based on nationality or age, but applicants must demonstrate a significant professional artistic background.
The residency duration is between one and three months. Artists may be invited to return to continue their research based on the initial project or to develop new projects in collaboration with the Foundation.
The Foundation is open for visits by appointment and enjoys visibility both in Morocco and internationally. Events organised within the Foundation and with various cultural and artistic partners provide artists with multiple opportunities to present their work. In addition to tailored human and technical support throughout the residency, the Foundation offers opportunities for local and international networking.
Montresso Art Foundation will finance the production of the approved project, covering transportation, meals, and all required materials. The artist will be provided with a private studio and accommodation on the residency site.
