The project Chamber Music Connects the World takes place in Kronberg (Germany) once every two years. The next edition is scheduled for 5-15 May 2022.
Outstanding young musicians (Juniors) join forces with world-famous artists (Seniors) to spend 11 days making chamber music together. An intensive period of rehearsals in ensembles made up of different players is followed by several concerts.
Applications are invited from young violinists, viola players, and cellists who were born in or after 1994, with a shortlist then invited for live auditions in Kronberg on 1-2 March 2022.
Thanks to the Crespo Foundation’s sponsorship of Chamber Music Connects the World, there are no fees for taking part. Participants will receive a contribution towards their travel costs as well as a fixed allowance for their stay in Kronberg.
