With the support of the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation, Hyperallergic will award $5000 fellowships to five curators to support ongoing research and develop their experience creating accessible writing and digital exhibitions for a wide audience.
Five fellows will be selected to work with Hyperallergic’s editorial team to develop and expand their research in order to contribute two articles to Hyperallergic, participate in a recorded online event, and produce an email exhibition that is accessible to a wide audience. Hyperallergic encourage curators to take an experimental approach in designing their email exhibitions, which they’ll share with over 175,000 Hyperallergic newsletter subscribers.
Hyperallergic hope to accept a wide range of fellows and plan to host one per month from November through March. They encourage those who can work independently and have a clear vision for their project to apply. Both established and emerging curators at least two years out of college are welcome to apply.
Curators not based in the US are also welcome to apply.
