/’fu:bar/ is an annual programme focused on electronic experiments and research in contemporary error-themed digital art and theory.
/’fu:bar/ 2023 is focused on the practices and value of DIY – Do it yourself, but for others with and in art software, methods, archives, communities, theory and other relevant facets of our shared contemporary electronic culture. The festival seeks both in-person and online submission for its main programme, which will run 7-13 October 2023 at MaMa / Zagreb.
Offline proposals can include:
- New Media Workshops.
- Glitch-themed Lectures.
- Electronic Performances.
- Hybrid events.
- etc.
Artist work selected for the event will be remunerated after the event via a standardised fee (50-200€ depending on the event intensity) and in correlation to the artists’ personal preferences.
Land travel and physical attendance will be financed and organised in arrangement with the artists
