The Network of Cultural Centers of Spain abroad (Red CCE), part of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), is offering five grants to festival managers in Latin America and Africa to participate in the Atelier for Young Festival Managers.
The 23rd edition of the Atelier for Young Festival Managers will take place 11–17 March 2025 in San Sebastian, Spain, organised by The Festival Academy – initiated by the European Festivals Association (EFA) – in partnership with dFERIA – Performing Arts Fair and the Victoria Eugenia Theater.
The Atelier is an internationally recognised capacity building programme that will bring together 35 emerging art festival leaders and curators from all over the world for an intensive 7-day professional exchange. The Atelier Donostia / San Sebastián 2025 will take place alongside dFERIA, a key event for performing arts professionals in Spain.
Applicants must be directors, managers, coordinators, programmers, or producers of an artistic festival in Latin America or Africa. The programme is designed for those interested in exchanging knowledge and experiences with peers active in the festival sector and who wish to develop leadership, programming, and management skills, learn from renowned experts, share ideas and best practices, and explore new international collaboration opportunities.
The grant includes the following:
- Round-trip airfare from the country of origin to Spain
- Bus/train ticket from the airport in Spain to San Sebastian
- Schengen visa
- Accommodation for 7 nights in San Sebastian.
- Meals and beverages during the 7 days of the Atelier
