Fabrik Burgdorf and the city of Burgdorf run an annual artist-in-residence programme. Each summer an artist – from Switzerland or abroad, no age limits – can spend 2 to 3 months at the Fabrik. The space is a combined living and working area (2 rooms, 56m2 and 18m2, including kitchen/bathroom) and includes the possibility of using a large open space in the factory hall.
The residency is mainly for visual artists, but artists from other (‘silent’) disciplines can also apply. The grant is 2000 Swiss Francs (~1860 EUR) per month.
