Deutsche Bank Pacific Fellowship is calling for visual artists from Indonesia and Singapore to apply for a three-month artist residency in Leipzig (Germany) from 1 November 2021 to 28 January 2022.
The residency will take place at a studio provided by LIA - Leipzig International Art Programme, a 14 year old non-profit residency programme that has supported over 400 artists from 40 nations internationally by providing them with spacious studios and cultural support, as well as opportunities to experiment and exhibit at the Spinnerei Leipzig, a former cotton mill founded in 1884 and once the largest cotton mill on the European continent.
The organisers provide:
- 80m2 furnished studio.
- International travel (economy flight).
- A monthly stipend of 1000€ for living, insurance and material costs.
The stipend also includes a group show in January 2022 during the Gallery Tours of the Spinnerei/ Spinnerei Winterrundgang, given your permission. The fellowship includes the opportunity to participate in an international etching symposia at Atelier für Radierung Maria and Vlado Ondrej.
