ARTCENA is hiring an International Project Officer for the Circostrada network.
Since 2003, ARTCENA has coordinated Circostrada, whose mission is to develop and structure the contemporary circus and outdoor arts sectors in Europe and around the world. With over 160 member organisations from more than 45 countries, the network contributes to building a sustainable future for these sectors by empowering cultural actors through the production of resources, observation and research, professional exchanges and information sharing.
Under the supervision of the Circostrada network Coordinator and Head of the international development department, and in close collaboration with the other international project manager (communication/publishing), the main tasks will be:
- Developing content and coordinating the production of Circostrada network activities
- Carrying out the administrative and financial monitoring of the Circostrada network’s activities
- Monitor the work of some of the Circostrada network’s internal working groups
- Contribute to the development of the Circostrada network’s project strategy
- Contribute to the development of ARTCENA’s international projects
The job location is Paris and the expected start date is 2 September 2024. There is frequent travel in France and abroad, sometimes during weekends.
ARTCENA is looking for a candidate with the following:
- Master’s degree in cultural project management with initial experience of supporting European and/or international activities.
- Excellent command of the English language;
- Knowledge of other foreign languages appreciated;
- Proficiency in the Office suite, Internet and multimedia tools;
- Knowledge of support schemes for European projects;
- Knowledge of the processes involved in artistic creation;
- Knowledge of intercultural issues;
- Knowledge of the performing arts and its networks.

Remuneration is based on experience and the SYNDEAC collective agreement salary scale, Group 5.
