Greylight Projects > Residency for Artists Based in the EUREGIO (Netherlands)

Greylight Projects residency programme is launching an open call for a residency of 2 months (March-April 2021) in Heerlen, the Netherlands. This open call is addressed to artists based in the EUREGIO. The EUREGIO is a cross-border region between the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The artist needs to be settled in this geographical area to apply for the residency, no matter his/her nationality. The artist needs to be sincerely and actively engaged in his/her practice.

The residency has its focus on supporting the artist’s research rather than on production. Greylight Projects offers a time to take a step back in an environment favourable to think in. Greylight Projects has always been interested in art in the public space and wishes to continue this. Following this idea, the guest artist is welcome to explore forms or actions that can be or happen in the public domain.

Alongside working facilities and accommodation the selected artist will receive an artist fee of 1000 euros. The residency is intended for artists working in visual arts or cross-disciplinary practices.

Deadline: 15 January 2021
