Working closely with the Syria Director Programmes and Partnerships, Project Support Officer, Communications Officer, the wider Syria programmes and MENA Arts teams, the Arts Programme Manager will provide temporary management support for the British Council Syria Arts programming. He/she will be overseeing the delivery of a range of cultural projects in partnership with local, regional and international arts organisations.
Key responsibilities include providing arts sector knowledge and insight, shaping project content and delivering activities in liaison with partners, stakeholders and suppliers, managing project budgets and contracts, overseeing the development of project communications content and developing and delivering risk management and monitoring and evaluation plans for all project work – ensuring high impact and quality delivery.
This is a fixed term local contract until 31 March 2021, remunerated at the 7/F pay band.
