Sounds Now > Research Associate
Sounds Now, a network of 9 European music festivals and cultural/music centres that promote contemporary music, experimental music and sound art, is looking to collaborate with a higher education institute or post-graduate student for a period of three to four years. The collaboration will focus on data collection and analysis in relation to Sounds Now’s activities. Specifically, this involves collecting quantitative data on diversity with regards to the artists, curators and audience engaged in Sounds Now events.
Duties will include:
Developing a suitable methodology for data collection.
Implementing this methodology and/or assisting project partners to do so.
Analysing the data and reporting to the partnership on an annual basis.
The output of this process should be a series of reports that the Project can include amongst its deliverables to the EU and disseminate widely.
The selected candidate's remuneration will be decided with the project's partners together with costs related to professional travel.
