The Art House / Outside In > Residency for Artists Facing Significant Barriers to the Art World (UK)

The Art House and Outside In are seeking proposals from individual artists who would like to develop and progress their practice through a residency at The Art House’s purpose-built studios in Wakefield. This opportunity is only open to artists with an Outside In online gallery, or those who fit the criteria for Outside In as a charity that supports ‘artists who face significant barriers to the art world due to health, disability, social circumstance or isolation’.

The planned residency dates are 3-30 August 2020, with the opportunity to show work at an exhibition 12 September – 17 October 2020. If the residency needs to be postponed due to the impact of the Coronavirus, then a new date will be found with the selected artist.
