International Women in Photo Award

The International Women in Photo Award is organised by the International Women in Photo Association, an organisation which promotes women photographers by highlighting and exposing their practices and talents to an international audience. Its mission is to encourage and support women photographers on the path of reaffirming their personal voice and practice.

Participation in the Photo Award competition is open to any women photographers, amateur or professional, from any country in the world. For the 2020 edition, photographers can either apply without a theme or under the theme ‘Sustainable’, submitting a series/collection of 7-10 photos.

The IWPA Award Prize consists of a traveling exhibition, lasting throughout 2020, that will take the work of the five finalists to key cities around the world, in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, including Paris, Tokyo and Dubai. One of the five finalists will be selected as the year’s laureate and receive a Canon Camera. Finalists can also authorise the sale of prints during the exhibition, receiving 50% of the proceeds.

The full calendar for the exhibition will be announced in April 2020.

Deadline: 29 February 2020
