Goethe-Institut London are looking for a Project Coordinator in their Culture Department to start 15 February 2020. The position will be predominantly dealing with the preparation and coordination of the Institut’s large-scale projects and the successful candidate would ideally have previous experience in the fields of theatre, dance, literature and talks (seminars, panel discussions, symposia etc.).
Employment will be part-time with 29.25 hours per week (this is equivalent to 75% of the full-time working week of 39 hours). The starting salary for an equivalent full-time position in the Goethe-Institut’s remuneration scheme is £30,990 p.a. The full annual leave entitlement for full time employment is 26 days plus Bank Holidays. This increases depending on length of service. The Goethe-Institut also offers a contributory pension scheme.
Assisting with the planning, preparation and implementation of larger, multi-player (regional) projects in the areas specified.
Implementation of projects in the field of theatre, dance, literature and conferences (seminars, panel discussions, symposia) in consultation with the Head of Department.
Assisting with press and publicity activities.
Settling accounts for events, budget monitoring, filing and archiving.
Fostering and maintaining respective networks, contacts and target groups, liaising with artists and speakers; negotiation with partners, venues, suppliers.
