ENCC > Incubator 2020 (Austria)
Incubator is one of the European Network of Cultural Centres’ flagship capacity building programmes. It supports mid to senior level professionals from cultural centres involved or seeking involvement in European cooperation projects.
This fully-funded programme aims at strengthening individual cultural centres (especially ENCC members, and members of ENCC members), and encouraging them to consider ‘going European’. It’s also a laboratory for increasing innovation and transversal cooperation within the ENCC network. The programme itself has multiple phases, centering around a consultancy retreat in Vienna 18-20 May 2020. Applicants apply with an idea for a project that fits into the Creative Europe, Erasmus+, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, Interreg, or Europe for Citizens programmes.
Although ENCC members are the main targets of the programme, there are a few slots for non-members to participate. Costs are also covered for these slots, though non-members will have to pay a small participation fee of 50€ if they are selected. If you are not an ENCC member, your project will have more chances of being supported if it is related to one of the following themes: Diversity, equality, inclusion in culture and in cultural organisations; Non-urban culture; Creating a cultural network; or Cultural centres.
Alongside support and mentoring, successful applicants will receive:
Travel expenses for the Vienna consultancy retreat (maximum total for non-members: 200€). Local transport in Vienna will be organised and covered by the ENCC during the consultancy.
Accommodation and food for the retreat.
Deadline (extended): 7 February 2020
