Goethe-Institut / LIA Leipzig International Art Program > NORDIC-LEIPZIG 2020 (Germany)

In 2020, the Goethe-Institut Denmark, in cooperation with the LIA Leipzig International Art Program, offers artists from Denmark and in particular the Færøer Islands and Greenland as well as Iceland the opportunity for a three-month artist residency at the Spinnerei Leipzig, from August to October 2020.

Artists in residence will have access to an 80 m² furnished studio to live and work in and receive a one-time payment of 500€ towards travel costs and material. They will also be expected to participate in the LIA Autumn Group Show in September 2020 during the Spinnerei Gallery Tour.

The resident will also receive full payment for the production of one print theme at the etching studio Atelier für Radierung Maria und Vlado Ondrej. This project aims at a Northern European print edition being produced to be part of a traveling exhibition, given the artist's permission. The team at the print studio also work with artists who do not work in the field of print making. They help with and teach everything necessary.

To be eligible artists must live and work in Denmark, the Færøer Islands, Greenland, or Iceland.
