ARCAthens is a not-for-profit organisation offering two fully funded Athens Residency Fellowships (Visual Art and Curatorial) to enable artists, curators, and scholars to live/work in Athens, Greece, from 17 February to 14 April 2025.
These opportunities enable artists, curators, and scholars to live/work in Athens, Greece, and be immersed in—and consequently respond to—the ongoing cultural renaissance taking place. The programme has been lauded for providing promotional services and robust elective networking, such as arranged studio and private collection visits, bespoke tours of institutions, as well as participation in varied community events.
Fellows are expected to participate in a bespoke seminar with students at the Athens School of Fine Arts and they are expected to participate in a public end-of-residency event.
ARCAthens welcomes applicants from all countries and nationalities, representing a broad range of creative thought and practice.
The organisers provide accommodation, a stipend of 150 USD per week, a Fellowship Prize of 2,000 USD and the cost of a basic coach round trip ticket.
