Circus and street arts: directories of artistic residency centers in Belgium and in France, by Circostrada Network
Circostrada Network has posted a series of directories, available to download, of artistic residency centres that are specialised in the street and circus arts, or that host artists from these sectors. These practical tools are available to teams and offer detailed information categorised by geographical area so as to assist in their search for existing opportunities, in the professionalisation of their practices and in the development of their international mobility.
This publication aims to promote circus arts in public spaces throughout Europe, by suggesting good practices to which signatories – circuses, local governments and other hosting entities – may willingly commit themselves.
Supported by the European Commission, artists from Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden and the UK have gathered in the "Artists in Creative Education" project in order to create a transnational guide for artists to work in primary schools.
Eurocities, the network of major European cities, has recently published three practical toolkits to facilitate integration. Their objective is to guide city administrators in reaching European standards in migrant integration; one of the publications addresses the issue from the perspective of cultural diversity promotion.
