- News / International Chamber Choir Competition and International Masterclass with Competition for Choral Conductors (Germany)The Goethe Institute is enabling five to eight choral conductors from countries on the DAC list of the BMZ - Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung to participate in the International Masterclass and Competition for Choral Conducting and the International Chamber Choir Competition Marktoberdorf. Participation in the lessons of the main class for choral conducting at the Hochschule für Musik Saar with Prof. Georg Grün from 24 May – 4 June 2023 will also be provided.
- News / Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum: Digital Fellowship for Artists from the Global South (Online)Leaky Archive is the new digital project at the Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum (RJM) in Cologne, Germany. It asks how RJM’s collection database, with around 165,000 entries, most of which contain minimal information, cab be more transparent and accessible. The present open call is directed to artists, activists, makers, experts, and collectives from the Global South, who are invited to apply with a project idea they want to pursue.
- News / Kultur einer Digitalstadt: Artist-in-Science-Residence 2023 (Germany)In January 2023, Kultur einer Digitalstadt is again inviting applications for three Artist-in-Science-Residencies (AiSR) for artists of all disciplines. This studio residency on the Rosenhöhe in Darmstadt is linked to a collaboration with one of three renowned Darmstadt research institutes - the Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence (hessian.AI), the GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung, and the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC). A total of three 6-week fellowships will be conducted between June and October 2023.
