Casa Árabe and PHotoEspaña jointly present the second edition of NUR, an open call for applications for a photography exhibition on contemporary Arab culture that will be displayed at Casa Árabe’s premises as part of the 25th PHotoESPAÑA International Photography Festival, within its official programme, to be held in 2022.

ALTER- is a three-month residency in Chandolin, a village perched at an altitude of 2000 meters in the Val d’Anniviers in the Swiss Alps, that invites one transdisciplinary team of 3-5 artists and researchers to rethink and respond to growing environmental crises and their associated social, economic, and cultural shifts. The next residency takes place 6 June – 3 August 2022.

Circostrada Network launches Bounce – a new mentoring programme for contemporary circus and outdoor arts workers. The programme includes an individual 16-hour tailor-made programme with a facilitator, opportunities for collective reflection, and participation in two events in Paris (February 2022) and Kaunas (June 2022).

Il est prévu que la mission se déroule en octobre et novembre 2022, à bord du navire de recherche et de ravitaillement sudafricain S.A. Agulhas II.

Open Sites is a cross-border cooperation between three territories on either side of the French-Belgian border: Ypres, Comines-Warneton, and Villeneuve d’Ascq. The project now seeks submissions from artists or groups (max. 3 people) who would like to undertake a residency at one of the sites and create original work that responds to the place and an accompanying theme. Residencies take place during May-July and September-October 2022.

Artist Residency Huet Repolt provides, for two months every year, a house in Brussels to a selected artist. The aim is to make available a place that is inspirational for work, research and encounters. In 2022, the residency will last 8 weeks, from 5 February to 2 April 2022.
