Re:Humanism Cultural Association has announced the second edition of its Re:Humanism Art Prize. The contest aims to investigate the advent and dissemination of artificial intelligence technologies in contemporary art, with selected projects receiving a prize / production budget to be presented at an exhibition in Rome.

The Korean Cultural Centres in Germany and the UK are offering artists an opportunity to exhibit in their gallery spaces in summer 2021 and winter 2021/22. The exhibition theme will be ‘Nothing is - everything just has been or will be’. Eligibility: Individuals and groups whose work has been exhibited more than once either domestically or internationally. Proposals should incorporate elements of Korean culture, history etc. OR the proposed artist(s) should be of Korean heritage.

Space and Time Artist Residency at Guttenberg Arts provides artists with access to a professionally equipped workspace in Guttenberg, New Jersey for the visual arts including printmaking, dark room and ceramics. The residency lasts three months and includes a one-month final group show as well as studio visits from accomplished professionals from the art world. You must be 23 years old or older and not currently enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate degree programme to apply.

Tranzit.cz has announced an open call for new curatorial working group members for the next edition of the Biennale Ve věci umění / Matter of Art (VVUMOA), which will take place in Prague in June 2022. The group will work over two years to develop a conception of the biennale edition for 2022 within the context of debates on ‘decolonisation’. Individuals and teams can apply.

Fondation Fiminco is launching an open call for visual artists across all disciplines to undertake a residency in Romainville (Seine-Saint-Denis). This residency will be focused on research and development, as well as production. The residency is aimed at artists residing in France or abroad, without an age limit, who can demonstrate a professional practice, either emerging established. Duos or collectives may also apply.

Austrian Cultural Forum Belgrade is launching an online platform dedicated to the dialogue between Austrian and Serbian artists. The call invites artists to submit artworks in digital form that shed light on the way European societies look at themselves and ‘the other’. It is open to contemporary visual artists over the age of 18 with a minimum of three years of professional experience who are Serbian or Austrian citizens or who currently live and work in Austria or Serbia.

Greylight Projects residency programme is launching an open call for a residency of 2 months (March-April 2021) in Heerlen, the Netherlands. This open call is addressed to artists based in the EUREGIO. The EUREGIO is a cross-border region between the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The artist needs to be settled in this geographical area to apply for the residency, no matter his/her nationality. The residency is intended for artists working in visual arts or cross-disciplinary practices.

Kaunas Photography Gallery’s residency programme invites applications from photographers and artists, curators, critics and art historians who work with photography. Residencies usually last from 4 to 9 weeks and are held within the period 1 March–20 December. Applicants can be of any nationality but must be based in Nordic–Baltic countries other than Lithuania (Denmark, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Åland, Latvia and Estonia).

Founded by artists for artists in 1998, Locust Projects is Miami’s longest running non-profit alternative art space. Locust Projects is currently inviting local, national, and international artists to apply for the opportunity to access the centre’s space and resources to create ambitious, large-scale new work in their 1,500 sq ft main gallery.

Organised by Kontempora, RESET 2021 is a 10-day international artist residency programme taking place 4-14 March 2021 in Kyustendil, Bulgaria. The programme will contain theoretical and practical modules, public lectures, online lectures and a final art exhibition. The residency is aimed at emerging artists in the visual arts.

The SAC International Curatorial Residency Programme 2021 will select an international curator to be part of the Miquel Casablancas Prize for the Visual Arts’ jury in 2021, and later develop a curatorial project with a selection of Catalan artists chosen from applicants to the prize. The project will be presented at the country of residence of the curator or in another international venue that they choose.

Artlink’s artist-in-residence scheme at Fort Dunree, Ireland is open to professional visual artists working in any discipline including but not limited to: sculpture, photography, painting, installation, and video. Residencies will take place from March till December 2021, and last for four weeks (this can be split into two or more visits).
