  • On the Move signed a joint letter calling for an increase in the EU's Budget for Culture
    With 70 other organisation in the cultural and creative sector, On the Move signed and sent an open letter to EU institutions urging them to give a significant boost to the EU budget dedicated to culture. The letter was issued by IMPALA (Independent Music Companies Association) and calls on the EU to double the budget allocated to the successor of Creative Europe, the EU’s programme dedicated to the cultural sectors, and ensure these sectors also have access to other sources of EU funding.

  • Open consultation – What would be the ideal European Mobility Fund for Arts and Culture for you?
    This open consultation has been developed by On the Move, the cultural mobility information network active in Europe and internationally. This survey is for individuals and organisations. It will take approximately 15 minutes to answer. All answers will be anonymized. We will share the results of our survey publicly in spring 2018. The questions are written in English, but answers can also be provided in English, French, Spanish and Italian. Share your thoughts and your needs before the 20th February 2018!

  • Post-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework: Call for a substantial and meaningful support for culture and the arts as generators of an EU added value
    Having followed the Commission’s high-level conference on the future MFF-framework on 8-9 January 2018 as well as discussions in the European Parliament, the European Alliance for Culture and the Arts calls on the European institutions and Members States to ensure substantial support for culture, the arts and heritage within the post-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF). On the Move part of the European Alliance for Culture and the Arts supports this call.

  • Brainstorming meeting: Sustainability strategies of EU funded projects related to cultural entrepreneurship / new models of production
    On the Move, part of the Creative Tracks’ project, organised on 16 June 2017 in Paris, a Brainstorming meeting on Sustainability strategies of EU funded projects related to cultural entrepreneurship / new models of production. This meeting aimed in particular on helping to develop strategies to sustain the online platform of Creative Tracks beyond the time of the EU funding (31 December 2017). 8 Projects’ coordinators of EU funded projects and special guests participated in this dynamic day.

With the support of On the Move’s members (ITI and its website, touring-artists.info and the Russian Theatre Union) and with the contribution of National Centre for Culture-Poland and EUNIA.

  • Producers’ Academy, International entrepreneurship models and strategies in the performing arts’ sector - 10-13 May 2017 (Brussels, Belgium)
    The Producers’ Academy focused on International entrepreneurship models and strategies in the performing arts’ sector, gathered in Brussels on 10-13 May 2017, 22 international producers and cultural entrepreneurs as well as 7 experts. The Producers’ Academy, a project by CIFAS, On the Move, MoDul and Kunstenfestivaldesarts, was organised within the scope of Creative Tracks, with the support of the European Union, Wallonie Bruxelles International, Shenzhen Design Week and the Asia-Europe Foundation.
