Vidnova: Placements in Ukraine Civil Society Organisations (Ukraine)

Title of the call on coloured wavy strips.

Vidnova is calling from applications from organisations and initiatives based in Ukraine and European experts for the Vidnova Placement, which offers support for Ukraine-based organisations and initiatives that are in need and want to host professionals from civil society living in wider Europe.

Vidnova Placement is an in-person stay in Ukraine which includes work in a Ukrainian organisation operating on-site. A fellow can visit the host organisation in two durations: Short term (1–2 weeks) or long term (3–4 weeks).

Vidnova is looking for organisations and initiatives based in Ukraine that have a lack of human resources and specific expertise and would like to host Ukrainian or international experts from wider Europe (European Union, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Iceland, Lichtenstein and Moldova). The programme accepts applications from already existing teams that have been temporarily or permanently working remotely or from teams that would like to work with an external specialist in person.

The host organisation and the fellow have to agree on the placement before submitting the applications and state each other’s names in the form while applying. It is sufficient if only one party – either the host or the fellow – applies with the respective budget proposal. Both parties choose together who will be the main applicant.

The organisers offer the following financial support for the host organisations and the fellows:

  • 1 week: up to 1,725 EUR in total
  • 2 weeks: up to 3,050 EUR in total
  • 3 weeks: up to 4,375 EUR in total
  • 4 weeks: up to 5,695 EUR in total

This covers accommodation, per diem and expert contribution for the fellow, fellow’s travel (up to 400 EUR), and donation to the host organisation.
